:D That has to be one of the most admirable and funny things Coach Weis has done.
Visiting an Ohio Linemen we wis to recruit instead of wooing him slapped the kids grades on the table. He told him that if they didn't improve Notre Dame wouldn't spend any more time trying to recruit him.And we do need linemen. Way to go Coach.
Anyone recall that kid from Texas? At that time Coach Weis was still working for the Patriots. The kids Dad said I want to look him (Coach Weis) in the face and ask what will you do for my son? I wanted to tell them both then something pretty crude. However, I left it at "Did either one of you think about a solid Notre Dame degree in four years?"
The kid and Dad visited Urban and he has em and is welcome.
