I was just reading some things about the top QB prospect in the o7 class, and it said it may comedown to the gamecocks and Notre Dame. I know its early to talk about a prospect for 2007 and we already have Zach Frazer but I want to know what you think about him.
Man that would be so awesome. I can't really say more since it's so far away except for, awesome.

I just learned that they will show his team on TV. should be interesting they play in the same league that produced Lorenzo Booker and Whitney Lewis.

I read that too. Some of the staff on BGI was saying that he is a top 3 prospect redardless of position.

With the upcoming probation that will probably be placed on South Carolina, i would suspect that he will commit to ND

I read somewhere that the family is Irish fans. His brother Casey really wanted to go to ND but we did not offer so he went to Tennessee. If we are in the final 2 than obviously there is no bad taste about Casey not receiving an offer.

I never heard that they are Irish fans, howeve that is great news. If he has us in his final 2 with the other USC then we have a great shot. The only reason I could see him going to South Carolina would be if Spurriar had a great year.

one other (possibly 2) reason(s) would be Zak Frazer and/or Mitch Mustain.

ya he could be scared of Competition but you still have to like our chances.

I'm guessing this year will play a major part in Clausen's decision. If Weis' offense catches on quickly and puts up big (read: Heisman) numbers, he will be more likely to commit to ND. Conversely, if Spurrier's Fun-N-Gun takes of in SC, he may head down there. If this guy is half as good as he is made out to be, I'll take him. Just have to get used to cheering for a Clausen as opposed to jeering a Clausen.
