I was just going through the rivals top 100 for some reason seeing who all of the were interested in. Any way rivals list us as high interest with austin and UCLA. My question is do you guys think we have a shot at this guy. I think it may be tough to lure him away from the west coast.

I think we have a real shot. BGI just did an article on him this morning and he sounded very positive. If the Irish aren't leading for him, then they are tied for his services.

I believe we have a very good shot at him especially with two other receivers committed, charlie can focus more attention on just him and richard jackson

we have a serious shot at him. he is quickly becoming one of my favorite WR targets. Seems to be a perfect fit for Weis' style of WR.

I really like him to, He would fit perfect in the system Weis has.

If we land Austin and Jackson, that rounds out an amazing receiving group for this class. Jackson with his height to go up and get the jump ball, ditto for Parris, Austin with his speed and all around big-play ability, and Gallup as the burner to stretch the field a-la Shelton. Talk about covering your bases.

absolutely right snatch. That would be a perfect class. Those are the 2 that I want the most. I actually want them more than Ausberry. West would be the fifth because he would be brought in as an athlete.

I think Austin is a lock, but we will need a knockout official (if he even takes one) to land Jackson.

I wish you were right Irish, but Austin is by no means a lock. But I do think he will eventually be Irish.
