These guys are expected to commit to the Irish within a few weeks:

Maurice Richardson
Richard Jackson
Toryan Smith
Chris Stewart
Konrad Reuland (probably won't announce till the AA game)

These guys are VERY highly expected to commit to ND.

Also, Carufel won't announce until the AA game, also ND.

Richard Jackson's commit should be this Friday.

Dan Wenger had some very positive comments on his official ND visit. I could be wrong, but I still don't think he will be Irish. more numbers than anything else. By the time he commits we should already have 3 interior linemen locked up (Olsen, Stewart and Carufel).

Mo Richardson said that he has already committed to a university but won't go public until he has a chance to let all the other schools know. Classy. He is ND. It's done.

It appears that Richard Jackson has done the same. It looks pretty good that he will be ND on Friday. Huge pick up for us. jackson would give us 4 WR's in this class if you consider West to be a Wr. We are still going after Terrance Austin. Weis is visiting him at his house after the Stanford game.

Reuland may no longer be waiting until the AA game. he wants to announce before Christmas. I don't have a source on this one but he looks almost signed, sealed and delivered for ND. This would be a huge addition to this class.

If west is an EE and we get Stewart and Yeatman than we could end up with 29 in this class.

Broker, I heard that Jashaad Gaines may be waivering on his commitment and is looking at Michigan. You know anything about this? We have a ton of talented safety prospects already, so it wouldn't be a huge loss, but I really like his attitude. I saw him as a future linebacker with his size and slower speed.

I wouldn't say he is necessaryily wavering but he is considering taking a trip to Michigan. I can't necessarily blame him since he grew up a big Michigan fan and that is his dream school. But I think the most likely scenario is that he stays firm to his ND committment. We also have another chip with him. Remember that his sister is on ND's basketball team.

Due to our safety depth in this class it would not be a huge loss but I still would like Gaines at ND. they say he has definite potential to become an apache LB.

Jackson's announcement may have been moved up to Thursday.

I just re read my initial post in this thread. I probably should have grouped Toryan Smith under the other guys. Nothing has changed and I still think he will be Irish but I do not KNOW anything like I do with Richardson, Stewart, and Jackson.

Reuland, is more of my opinion. I would be completely shocked if he is not ND.
