It helps to know where our staff has come from. Here's another sampling of one of our Moderators, and the path he took, with game experiences and the same hook we all have. God bless Our Lady and all of her passionate fans, and of course our cherished Moderator, "Dreamer". Enjoy! .

"I grew up a gang member, associating with a fairly large neighborhood in South Central Los Angeles. The neighborhood I affiliated with was strictly SC fans. I lost my parents early in life, and would eventually be placed in a Boys Home in San Fernando Valley, Pacific Lodge."

"I was able to play Pop Warner football while living at the home, and remember the Irish/Trojan brawl of 1971. From that point on I was reading everything I could get my hands on in regards to Notre Dame Football. For the first time in my life, I had something I looked to for inspiration. Notre Dame was my role model. I was a Southern California kid whose life would be forever changed."

"And in 1973 during the Cotton Bowl, the Notre Dame vs. Alabama game was simply the icing on the cake, I pledged a loyalty to the Irish that will be taken to my grave. I was in awe of the Irish. To me Ara Parseghian was larger than life. Notre Dame meant a lot of things to a lot of people."

"While I have not attended Notre Dame, and have never been to South BendI nonetheless am proud to be her teams fan. While I at times seem like such a HomerI look back at what I could have become without the inspirationI am forever grateful."

"Michael Stonebreaker, Joe Montana and Autry Denson are my all time favorites."
